No subscription for Mounjaro, Wegovy or weight loss tablets: you pay per order, nothing is charged automatically, and the price of every dose is listed here.

Can you get weight loss medication without a subscription? At Solira, yes: there is no subscription, no monthly plan and no automatic payment. You pay for each order when you place it, at the price for that dose, and nothing is taken from your card until you choose to order again.

This guide explains how paying per order works for Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide) injection pens, Wegovy tablets and Foundayo (orforglipron) tablets: what each dose costs, how reorders work, and what happens if you want a break or to stop. All four are on our weight loss treatment page. Solira is the online service of QuickCare Pharmacy, a GPhC-registered pharmacy (premises 9013213).

    The short answer

    • No subscription. You only pay when you place an order.
    • No automatic payments. Every payment is one you make yourself, at checkout.
    • No minimum term, and nothing to cancel. If you stop, you simply do not order again.
    • One price per dose. The same on your first order and on every reorder.
    • No consultation fee. The consultation is free. You pay for your medicine and delivery, and any optional extra you choose.

What we do, and what we don't

Some online weight loss services offer an introductory price on a first order, or sign you up to a plan that takes money from your card every month until you cancel. We don't do either.

    What we do

    • Show one price for each dose.
    • Charge that same price for your dose on your first order and on every order after it. What you pay changes only if your dose changes.
    • Take a payment only when you place an order yourself.
    • Have a GPhC-registered pharmacist check every order before anything is sent.

    What we don't do

    • No introductory price that goes up on your second order.
    • No subscription, and no automatic monthly payments.
    • No minimum term, and nothing to cancel.

What does no subscription mean here?

A subscription is a repeating payment: your card is charged on a set day, usually every month, until you cancel. Solira does not work that way. Each order is one payment for one supply. The next payment only happens if you come back and place another order, and no order is ever placed for you.

You can save your card if you like, by ticking the box on Stripe's payment form. It is then filled in for you the next time you pay. It is not used to charge you automatically, and you can remove it on Stripe's form at any time. We never see or store your card number: payments are handled by Stripe.

How does paying per order work?

    1. You complete the online consultation. It is free, and asks about your health, your weight and any medicines you take.
    2. You choose your medicine and dose, and pay at checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, in a secure Stripe checkout.
    3. A GPhC-registered pharmacist reviews your answers within 24 hours. Nothing is supplied until your order has been checked and approved.
    4. If your pharmacist cannot approve your order, we refund you in full. You can also cancel for a full refund at any time before your order is dispatched.
    5. We aim to dispatch within 1 working day of approval. Injection pens go by Royal Mail Tracked 24 in a cool package, and tablets by Royal Mail Tracked 48.

    What does each dose cost?

Solira's price list, October 2026, for one supply at each dose. Each dose has one price. You pay the price of the dose you are ordering, so what you pay changes as your dose changes. The price for each dose is the same on your first order and every one after. No introductory prices.

Treatment usually starts at the starting dose and moves up in steps, and your pharmacist reviews every step. Our Mounjaro dosage chart, Wegovy dose schedule, Wegovy tablets dosage schedule and guide to how to take Foundayo explain the steps.

    How do reorders work?

There is no automatic repeat. When your next supply is due, you reorder from your account, and every order is reviewed by your pharmacist before anything is sent.

Reordering opens two weeks before your supply runs out: 14 days after a one-month supply starts, 42 days into two months, and 70 days into three. We let you know when it opens, and your account shows the date.

A reorder takes four steps: your dose, a health check, how many pens or packs, then payment. The health check matters, because your pharmacist needs to know about any change in your health or medicines before supplying again.

Need your next order sooner, for example because you are travelling or something was lost or broken? Message your pharmacist and they will look at it with you.

    Two or three at once

Once you have had an order approved at a dose, your next order of the same medicine at the same dose may be for 1, 2 or 3 pens or 30-day packs. Two or three cost exactly the one price times the number, with a single delivery charge: two Mounjaro 5mg pens, for example, are £319.98 plus delivery. It is still one payment that you make yourself, not a plan. A first order, a change of dose, or anything your pharmacist needs to look at first means one at a time, and the reorder page shows what is open to you.

Can I take a break or stop at any time?

Because there is no plan, there is nothing to cancel. If you decide to stop, you simply do not place another order.

Your account also has a Take a break or stop option. You can ask us to remind you a week later, pause your reminders until a date you choose, or tell us you have stopped, which ends your reorder reminders. Nothing is sent or charged until you reorder.

A break has a clinical side too. If three months or more pass after your last dose, treatment restarts at the lowest dose and builds up again. Our guide to restarting Mounjaro or Wegovy after a break explains which dose you restart on. For the injection pens, the missed dose advice we give every patient reads:

Missed dose. Mounjaro: take it if fewer than 4 days have passed, otherwise skip. Wegovy pens: take it if fewer than 5 days have passed, otherwise skip. After a long gap, contact us before restarting: treatment resumes at the lowest dose.

If side effects are the reason you are thinking of stopping, message your pharmacist first: they can talk it through with you. Our guide to what happens when you stop taking Mounjaro explains what to expect.

Can I move from a monthly plan with another provider?

If you take Mounjaro, Wegovy or a weight loss tablet with a provider that charges you every month, you can move to paying per order with us. Our page on switching to Solira explains it in full. In short:

    • Have proof of your last supply to hand: your previous provider's approval email, a photo of your prescription, or a photo of the dispensing label. You upload it in the consultation, or after you pay.
    • If your last dose was under three months ago, your pharmacist can usually continue the dose you are on, once they have checked your proof. After three months or more, treatment restarts at the lowest dose.
    • Start your consultation before your current supply runs out. Keep using your current supply until we approve your order, then stop your repeat with your current provider. We don't contact them for you.
    • Never take two supplies at once. The consultation asks you to confirm that you will stop receiving supply from your current provider once we approve your order.

Changing to a different medicine at the same time, for example from Wegovy to Mounjaro, is a separate clinical decision with its own starting dose: see switching between Mounjaro and Wegovy.

Questions to ask any online pharmacy before you pay

The General Pharmaceutical Council's guide to keeping safe when getting medicines online suggests asking how a service works before you use it, including how you will be charged, and checking what after-care you will receive. For weight loss treatment, these are worth asking anywhere:

    • Will my card be charged automatically, and how often?
    • Is there a minimum term, or notice to give before I can stop?
    • What does each dose cost, not just the starting dose?
    • Is the price the same on a reorder as on a first order? If there is an introductory price or a new customer code, ask what you will pay from your second order.
    • What is included: the consultation, needles, delivery?
    • Who do I contact if I feel unwell or have a question once I have started?
    • Is the pharmacy on the GPhC register? You can check ours, QuickCare Pharmacy, premises 9013213, on the GPhC register.

To see our prices next to other UK providers' prices, dated and dose by dose, read our Mounjaro price comparison, Wegovy price comparison and Foundayo price guide.

If you would like to see whether treatment is right for you, the consultation is free: check if you are eligible.

When should you speak to your pharmacist or doctor?

Message your pharmacist before you restart after a gap in treatment, and before you change medicine or provider. They need the date of your last dose to choose a safe dose.

Never take GLP-1 medicines from two places, or two GLP-1 medicines, at the same time.

If your supply will run out before your next order can reach you, message your pharmacist. Do not space your doses further apart to make a supply last longer, and do not take two doses to make up for a missed one.

Thinking of stopping because of side effects? Speak to your pharmacist first.

Stop your treatment and seek urgent medical help if you experience: severe, persistent stomach pain, especially spreading to your back, with or without vomiting. This can be a sign of pancreatitis. Sudden pain in the upper right of your tummy, fever, or yellowing of the skin or eyes: possible gallbladder problems. Sudden loss of vision, or loss of part of your field of vision: seek same-day eye assessment. Swelling of the face or lips, difficulty breathing, or a widespread rash: call 999.

Seek advice promptly if you notice: signs of dehydration during vomiting or diarrhoea (dizziness, reduced urination, dry mouth): keep sipping fluids, as dehydration can affect your kidneys; palpitations or a racing heartbeat at rest; a new neck lump, swelling, or hoarseness. If you have type 2 diabetes and use insulin or a sulfonylurea, know the signs of low blood sugar (sweating, shaking, sudden hunger, confusion) and treat promptly.

Before any operation: tell your surgical or anaesthetic team you take a GLP-1 medicine. It slows stomach emptying, which matters for anaesthesia.

    Frequently asked questions

There is no subscription. You only pay when you place an order.

Yes. Mounjaro and Wegovy pens, Wegovy tablets and Foundayo are all paid for per order at Solira: one payment for one supply, made by you at checkout. A GPhC-registered pharmacist reviews every order, and nothing is supplied unless they decide it is suitable for you.

One Mounjaro KwikPen holds 4 weekly doses. In October 2026, Solira's price for one pen is £127.99 for 2.5mg, rising with the dose to £279.99 for 15mg, plus delivery. The price for each dose is the same on your first order and every one after. No introductory prices.

No. Every payment is one you make yourself at checkout, when you place an order. If you choose to save your card on Stripe's payment form, it is only filled in for you the next time you pay.

The price depends on the dose you order, not on how long you have been with us: a higher dose costs more. The price for each dose is the same on your first order and every one after. No introductory prices.

No. The consultation is free. You pay for your medicine and delivery when you place an order, and if your pharmacist cannot approve it, we refund you in full.

Once you have had an order approved at a dose, your next order of the same medicine at the same dose may be for 1, 2 or 3 pens or 30-day packs, at the one price times the number, with one delivery charge. A first order, a change of dose, or anything your pharmacist needs to look at first means one at a time.

There is nothing to cancel, because there is no plan. If you want to stop, simply do not place another order, and choose Take a break or stop in your account to end your reorder reminders. An order you have already placed can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched.

Not usually, if your last dose was under three months ago and your pharmacist can check your proof.
