Cookies Policy

This website is run by QCP1 Ltd, trading as Solira, the owner of QuickCare Pharmacy (GPhC registered pharmacy 9013213), and in this policy "we" means QCP1 Ltd.

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. We also use your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way, and, if you accept analytics, PostHog's code, which sets its own cookies. This policy covers all of them.

These are always on, because the site does not work properly without them:

• Keeping you signed in to your account, and signing you out after a set time for your security
• Saving your progress in a consultation and the contents of your shop basket, so you do not lose them
• Remembering your cookie choices, and whether you have switched off anonymous visit counts

We note the link that first brought you to our site, such as an email, a search result or an advert, and attach it to your order, so we can see which of them lead to orders. Unless you choose "Accept all", the note is not saved on your device and lasts only until you close or reload the page. If you accept, we keep it in your browser's local storage so it still counts if you come back another day to finish, and choosing "Essential only" later deletes it. It goes into our own records with your order, and we do not share it with advertising companies.

Unless you switch them off, we count visits to each page and, in a consultation, which service and which step it was, so we can see how the site is used and improve it. These counts use no cookies and store nothing on your device. Each count carries a new random number used for that count only, and the hour rather than the exact time, so it cannot be linked to you or to any other count. PostHog processes them for us on servers in the EU. You can switch them off by unticking "Count my visits anonymously" on our cookie banner.

If you choose "Accept all", PostHog, on servers in the EU, sets cookies and uses local storage to show us how our website is used: the kind of page you visit, such as a treatment page or a consultation page, but never which one or its title; the steps of a journey you complete, without your answers; your device and browser; the website and the campaign tags of a link that brought you; and the kind of page you first arrived on. Through these cookies, PostHog never receives a medicine, a dose, a condition, your answers, the reason a consultation was stopped, an account or order number, or anything you type. PostHog is not told who you are, it does not record your visit, and it does not keep your IP address. "Accept all" turns on nothing else apart from keeping the note of where you came from (section 3).

We use no advertising cookies, tags or pixels, whatever you choose. If the Meta or Google advertising cookies our site set before 5 October 2026 are still on your device, the site deletes them when you visit. Cookies those companies keep on their own websites can be cleared in your browser.

Our fonts are served from our own website. The Trustpilot review box loads from Trustpilot only on the pages that show reviews, when the box comes into view, so Trustpilot receives your IP address on those pages. Stripe's payment form loads on our payment step only, and there Stripe sets its own cookies, which it needs to keep your payment secure and to prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy.

Continue with Apple and Continue with Google load nothing from Apple or Google until you tap them. When you do, that company's sign-in opens and can set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy.

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice or to switch off anonymous visit counts. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; if you delete what the site needs, you will be signed out and lose any unsaved progress.
