    Foundayo (orforglipron) is available in the UK, and ordering is open at Solira. The MHRA authorised it on 10 August 2026, and you can get it after an online weight-management consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered pharmacist. It is a once-daily tablet taken at any time of day, with no food or water restrictions.

    What is Foundayo?

    Foundayo is a once-daily oral GLP-1 medicine from Eli Lilly. Unlike the peptide GLP-1 medicines, it is a non-peptide, small-molecule medicine, and the UK product information found no clinically relevant effect of food on how much of it reaches your blood. You take one tablet at any time of day, with or without food, swallowed whole and never split, crushed or chewed. It is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to under 30 with a weight related condition, alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more physical activity, and for blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes.     How do you get Foundayo at Solira?

    You complete an online weight-management consultation, and your answers, measurements and photographs are reviewed by a UK registered pharmacist. Where treatment is clinically appropriate, we arrange a short video call before your first supply, then your medicine is dispensed from our GPhC registered pharmacy and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which is £2.99. There is no consultation fee, no prescription fee and no subscription.

    Which Foundayo dose do you start on?

    If you already take Foundayo with another provider, or you are restarting it and your last dose was under three months ago, you can usually carry on at the dose you were on once your pharmacist has checked proof of your last treatment, such as your previous provider's approval email or a photo of the dispensing label. If you are new to Foundayo, you start at 0.8mg once daily. Each dose step lasts a minimum of 30 days before any increase is considered, up to a maximum of 17.2mg once daily. Not everyone needs the top dose. The aim is the lowest dose that gives steady, sustainable results, and each increase is reviewed with you.     Safety in short

    Seek urgent medical help if you have severe, persistent abdominal pain that may spread to your back (possible pancreatitis), sudden loss of vision or loss of part of your field of vision (NAION), pain in the upper right of your tummy with fever or yellowing of the skin or eyes (gallbladder), or signs of dehydration such as dizziness, dry mouth or passing much less urine.

    Stop your treatment and seek urgent medical help if you experience: severe, persistent stomach pain, especially spreading to your back, with or without vomiting. This can be a sign of pancreatitis. Sudden pain in the upper right of your tummy, fever, or yellowing of the skin or eyes: possible gallbladder problems. Sudden loss of vision, or loss of part of your field of vision: seek same-day eye assessment. Swelling of the face or lips, difficulty breathing, or a widespread rash: call 999.

    Seek advice promptly if you notice: signs of dehydration during vomiting or diarrhoea (dizziness, reduced urination, dry mouth): keep sipping fluids, as dehydration can affect your kidneys; palpitations or a racing heartbeat at rest; a new neck lump, swelling, or hoarseness. If you have type 2 diabetes and use insulin or a sulfonylurea, know the signs of low blood sugar (sweating, shaking, sudden hunger, confusion) and treat promptly.

    Before any operation: tell your surgical or anaesthetic team you take a GLP-1 medicine. It slows stomach emptying, which matters for anaesthesia.

    The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and constipation, usually in the first weeks and after each dose increase. Smaller meals and good hydration help. Oral hormonal contraception may be less effective, so a non-oral method or an added barrier method is advised for 30 days after starting and for 30 days after each dose increase. Tell your pharmacist about every medicine you take, as some interact and need review: a few, such as clarithromycin, itraconazole, ketoconazole and ciclosporin, lower the highest Foundayo dose to 9mg once daily.
