How the pens work
Mounjaro is supplied in pre-filled pens. Each pen is labelled with a specific strength and is designed to deliver that strength as a single weekly dose. A note on "click charts" and splitting doses
Online "click charts" circulate claiming you can dial intermediate or extra doses from a pen. Solira does not advise this. The pen is licensed to deliver specific labelled doses; attempting to dial an intermediate amount risks an inaccurate dose, means you cannot know how much medicine you've actually received, and falls outside the licensed use of the device. If cost or titration is behind the question, speak to your pharmacist — there are better answers than an unverified dose.
If you miss a dose
The Mounjaro product information allows a missed dose to be taken within a defined window. After that window, skip it and resume your normal schedule. Never take two doses to make up for one. Check the exact window in the patient information leaflet supplied with your pen, or contact your pharmacist before injecting if you are unsure.
Changing your injection day
Changing your injection day is permitted, provided the minimum interval between doses specified in the product information is respected. Again, check the patient information leaflet supplied with your pen or contact your pharmacist for the exact interval.

Slow escalation is what makes the gastrointestinal effects manageable. The four-week minimum at each step is there so your gut has time to adapt before more drug arrives — cutting the step short is the fastest way to give up on treatment.
